Professional profile

Maria Grimaldi graduated in Biological Sciences in 1984 at the University of Padua.

She is a biologist manager with a highly specialized posting at Production Service Centre of SCS8 – Optimization and control of food production, IZSVe. She is responsible for the production and quality control solutions and culture media for the microbiology laboratories of IZSVe, ISO 9000 certified process.

She is IZSVe coordinator for the AQUA Proficiency testing programme, and she is responsible for the AQUA Food microbiology proficiency testing, accredited ISO 17043. She is also quality insurer of SCS8 – Production Service Centre.
