Luciano Iob is a veterinarian of the Official food control laboratory of Pordenone, which is part of the the SCT4 – Friuli Venezia Giulia peripheral laboratory.
He has a degree in Veterinary medicine and a specialized in Veterinary law and legislation. He was the head of the IZSVe’s peripheral diagnostic laboratory of Padua, were he worked at the diagnostics of animal pathology (pathology, bacteriology, serology). He has also worked to food microbiology, TSE, animal mycoplasmosis, bovine tuberculosis, mastitis.
His research activities relate to cell mediated immunology and health aspects of waste treatment.
