Professional profile
Rosaria Lucchini is a biologist manager at the Self control Laboratory of the peripheral diagnostic laboratory SCT5 – Trento of the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale delle Venezie (IZSVe). She has been working at the IZSVe since 1997.
She graduated in Biological Sciences (University of Padua), defended her PhD in Respiratory Diseases (University of Milan), and holds the specialization diploma in Chemistry and Food Technology (University of Parma). She obtained also a degree in Health Department Management (SDS EUPOLIS Lombardia) and in Wildlife and Public Health (University of Milan).
She works mainly in the field of the food safety, expecially training and consulting food operators, and dealing with the simplification of the application of the HACCP system in food micro-enterprise.
Her main research interests are food safety, good hygiene practices in the food industry, hygiene of wild meat, and the enhancement of local food productions
