Alberto Zampiero is a veterinary officer at the SCS8 – Agri-Food Chain Business Services Unit of the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale delle Venezie (IZSVe).
Alberto Zampiero graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Padua in 2009. In 2013, he completed a postgraduate specialization in Inspection of Foods of Animal Origin at the same University. He is registered with the Veterinary Medical Board of the Province of Treviso.
From 2009 to 2020, he worked in consulting, quality management, and self-checking systems for various companies in the food sector, gaining extensive experience in the meat, dairy, and plant-based protein industries. He currently works at the Food Supply Chain Hygiene and Safety Laboratory (San Donà di Piave – Venice), where he oversees the PPL (Small Local Productions) project and self-checking system for private businesses.
