Professional profile
Albino Gallina is a senior chemist at the SCS2 – Chemistry Unit of the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale delle Venezie (IZSVe).
He graduated in Chemistry from the University of Padua, where he passed the state board examination to practice as a professional chemist and obtained a postgraduate specialization diploma in Chemical Control and Analytical Methodologies. Since 2006, he has served as a senior chemist at the Food Toxicology Laboratory within SCS2 – Chemistry and at the Italian National Reference Centre for Beekeeping at IZSVe.
His research interests focus primarily on the study and development of analytical methods regarding food composition and preservation, hemical additives in food, and the physicochemical and residual characteristics of beekeeping products.
