Professional profile
Michela Rabini is a senior veterinary officer at the SCT6 – Bolzano Territorial Unit of the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale delle Venezie (IZSVe).
She holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine and a specialization in Inspection of Foods of Animal Origin. Since 2004, she has worked as a senior veterinarian at SCT6, where she served as the lead for the self-checking operational unit. Since 2008, she has been the Quality Assurance Officer for the Bolzano peripheral structure, focusing in particular on the quality assurance of results and the execution of audits.
She has been involved in several research projects on food safety within the catering and food service sector. In particular, she has collaborated with trade associations in the butchery sector to draft sampling plans and conduct shelf-life studies for products of animal origin.
