The 7th Congress of the European Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (EAVLD) will be held in Padua from Monday 21st to Wednesday 23rd October 2024.
The event will be held at the new Padova Congress venue, and will bring together a European audience of veterinary laboratory diagnosticians working in all disciplines across the full range of species , with the aim of providing a platform for communication to share the best practices and research discoveries for the future development of veterinary diagnostic.
The program will include lectures, oral communications, posters, round tables and debates with the involvement of the public. It is possible to send abstracts for the presentation of oral communications and posters at the conference is open until 15 July 2024.
Giorgia Angeloni – president of VSF International and researcher at the Research and Cooperation Office of the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale delle Venezie (IZSVe), and Isabella Monne – director of the Viral Genomics and Transcriptomics Laboratory of the IZSVe and World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) expert for avian influenza and Newcastle disease, will be among the keynote speakers.
Antonia Ricci, Director general of the IZSVe, and Nicola Pozzato, head of the Specialist center for veterinary forensic medicine of the IZSVe, are among the members of the Organising Committee. While Giovanni Cattoli, Health Director of the IZSVe, and Carmen Losasso, head of the Microbial ecology and microrganisms genomics Laboratory, are among the members of the Scientific Committee.
